Summary:
I received this ARC in exchange for my honest review.
Amber is about to start her freshman year in college. She was recruited and received a scholarship for running. Amber knows she is fast and is up for the challenge to be pushed harder to be the best. What she wasn't expecting was to be judged on her appearance instead of her skills. Amber will have more challenges than she ever expected to have including keeping away from her coach.
Joaquin is know as the hard ass coach. He might not be head coach, but he loves to push his athletes to be the best. He assumes because Amber is one of the best he has seen she is going to be arrogant, conceded, and stuck up. Joaquin figures if he pushes Amber the "I am better than everyone" will come out. Well, he is about to find out how wrong he is about Ms. Amber.
